Recommended Web Browsers for ICAS Assessments
Using one of these browsers on a compatible operating system will help ensure that all assessment features run correctly
- To ensure a smooth testing experience for Mathematics, English, Science, and Digital Technologies, we recommend using Google Chrome for ICAS assessments
- To sit the ICAS Writing, ICAS Spelling Bee, and Spelling assessments, students must use our secure test application, Janison Replay — a locked-down browser that ensures a safe and controlled exam environment.

- Note 1: An external keyboard or mouse is not necessary for students using a tablet.
- Note 2: The iPad mini is not supported
- Note 3: Chromebooks must be running as Managed Devices in Kiosk mode for assessments requiring the locked-down browser application.
- Note 4: Devices must be connected to a single screen only.
- Note 5: Students using devices must use the device's native keyboard, not Google keyboard or any other third party
