Accessing the results
The FAQ explains how ICAS results are accessed and understood. It covers when results are released, how to view them online, what the scaled scores and percentiles mean, and how certificates and medals are awarded helping both teachers and students interpret performance with confidence.
You can access your child’s results online via the Results Portal using their TAP-ID and PIN, approximately 15 business days after the final sitting day of each ICAS subject. Results are released to schools approximately 8–10 business days after the final sitting day of each ICAS subject. Parents and students can access results around 5 business days after the school receives them. Certificates are dispatched to your child’s school approximately 4 weeks after the final sitting day (7–9 weeks for Writing) and will be distributed at the school’s discretion.
Medal eligibility is based on achieving the top score in your locale, for a specific year level, and subject. Learn more about ICAS grading here.

We’ve introduced a new TAP-ID and PIN process to give you quicker access to your child’s ICAS 2025 results. You will receive your child’s TAP-ID and PIN:
- In the confirmation email after purchase
- Again via email when results are released, along with a link to view them online
- By submitting a request through this form – we aim to respond within 10 business days
- If your child has previously sat ICAS at the same school, their TAP-ID and PIN can also be found on the back of prior years' certificates
- If you haven’t received your TAP-ID and PIN or believe the details are incorrect, you can request them via the form above or wait until your printed certificate arrives, where the TAP-ID and PIN are also printed on the back.

Unfortunately, we do not provide access to the actual assessment questions. However, you can find a detailed overview of the question types for each subject on the results portal.

We send feedback surveys to both schools and parents after each ICAS event. These surveys are the best way to share your thoughts. Alternatively, you’re welcome to contact our customer service team via phone or email.
